Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services, Karnataka has announced a Job notification and invited online applications from the eligible candidates for filling the vacancies of  MO, Specialist-District Medical Officer, Counsellor, Staff Nurse, Consultant, Rehabilitation Workers posts for their NPCDCS Programme and NPHCE on contractual basis for one year for various District Hospital and CHCs. There are total 58 posts to be filled up. Candidates' upper age limit is 50 years for the posts of  Specialist-District Medical Officer (NCD) and Consultant Medicine and 40 years for remaining posts. Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Merit. eligible and desirous candidates should apply online through the official website www.web5.kar.nic.in/health_recruit upto 10-02-2014 upto 05:00 PM. for detail information.

Total no. of vacancies: 58 posts

Name of the posts:

Under NPCDCS Programme:
1. Medical Officer (NCD): 14 posts
2. Specialist-District Medical Officer (NCD): 05 posts
3. Counsellor: 03 posts
4. Staff Nurse: 06 posts

Under  NPHCE Programme:
1. Consultant Medicine: 05 posts
2. Rehabilitation Workers: 13 posts
3. Staff Nurse: 12 posts

Educational Qualification:
Candidates those who are applying for MO should be MBBS and for  Specialist-District Medical Officer & Consultant Medicine should be MD in Medicine or equivalent degree from institute recognized by the MCI and for the posts of Counsellor should have Bachelore's Degree in Social Sciences or Degree/Diploma in counseling /Health education/Mass Communication, for the posts of Staff Nurse should have a Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Nursing from a recognized Institution and for the post of Rehabilitation Workers candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent and one year certificate course/Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (DMRW) or should have done Community Based Rehabilitation Worker from a Govt recognized Institution nd should be registered under Rehabilitation Council of India Act 1992 or should have a Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) and relevant experience.  

Age Limit:

Selection Procedure:
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Merit.
