IOCL is looking for the Service of police Officer from the state of Uttar Pradesh with clean service record and willing to work as Security chief on Contract Basis for the Security & Surveillance of the Barauni Kanpur Petroleum Pipeline in State of Uttar Pradesh. The Selected Officer will going to be placed at Allahabad

Eligibility :
Should have retired from Police Services for the state of Uttar Pradesh on or After 31.12.2011 at the rank not less than Deputy Superintend of Police. Advantage will be given to the candidates having legal background, experience of working in intelligence and crime control

Job Profile : 

  • To draw strategy for total security of Pipelines assigned to him
  • To put in place intelligence gathering system
  • To assist in case of emergency including but not limited to leak/bursts/sabotage including liaising with local police etc.
  • To advise on deployment of guards in the total interest of IOCL
  • To ascertain and put in place the process of character and antecedent verification of personnel deployed for the pipeline security including contract labour
  • To attend all emergencies and advise corrective measures
  • To liaison with police authorities on regular basis
  • To facilitate training/experience sharing with pipelines security personnel
  • To monitor daily security situation report
  • Period of Contract : Minimum one Year (Can be extended)        
  • Remuneration & facilities : negotiate, basis on the Candidate's Ability

Age Limit: 
Candidates age should be above 18 years and below 36 years for VRO Posts and above 18 years and below 37 years for VRA Postsas on as on the 1st day of July of the year in which the notification for selection is made. Relaxation is applicable upto 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST or BCs, 10 years for Physically Handicapped Persons and 3 years for Ex-Serviceman.

Educational Qualification: 
Candidates must have passed Intermediate Examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Intermediate Examination or its equivalent for VRO Posts and passed SSC (10th Class) Examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent for VRA Posts.

Selection Process: 
Selection of candidates is based on Objective Type Written Test for 100 Marks at SSC Level (For VRA Posts), Intermediate Level (For VRO Posts). Question Paper will be in Telugu, Elglish & Urdu Medium.

Exam Fee:
Each applicant must pay Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ ST Candidates) at any of the E-Seva/ Mee – Seva/ AP online centres/ through web portal of CGG and acknowledgement be obtained by paying only specified amount. A service charge of Rs. 20/- shall be paid to the service providers. No Fee applicable to the applicants belonging to PH category. Candidates pay the application fee from 28-12-2013 to 12-01-2014.
