The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology , (DIAT) has came into existence as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952 in the CMe campus. Here, It has announced very important notifications for candeidates who want to proceed their studies with High Level. Those who have completed B.E./B. Tech degree in Mechanical / Marine from recognized University, with 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA in the qualifying examination and valid GATE Score can apply for M.Tech and Ph.D Programmes in DIAT.

Boarding/Lodging : 
Selected candidates will be provided accomodation and mess facilities on payment basis and it is mandatory that they stay in the Institute campus. Monthly charge is Rs.6000/-

Application fee : 

Rs.200/- (Rs.100 for SC/ST candidates) is required to pay by Demand draft drawn in favour of Vice Chancellor, DIAT, Pune, payable at Pune.

2. Last date for accepting online application form : 5th May 2014
3. Hard Copy of application submission last date : 12th May 2014
4. Tentative date of Interview/Written Test : 3rd/4th week of May 2014
5. Tentative date of commencement of the programme : 2nd week of July 2014

Candidates have to apply Online through the website i.e www.diatonline.co.in, The application has to be uploaded as per the  Instructions provided in this website. A print out of the application has to be forwarded to the Deputy Registrar (Academics) Defence Institute of Advance Technology Pune 411025 along with the DD, self certified copies of marks lists, certificates and other testimonials. These documents should reach DIAT latest by 10may 2014.
