Name of the Posts: Assistant Teacher

Educational Qualification:

Candidates those who are applying for these posts should be a Graduate from a recognized university/UGC and B.Ed/ B.Ed (Spl. Edu.), D.Ed/ D.Ed (Spl. Edu.) recognized by National Council for Teachers' Education and NTET or STET for teaching the students of class 1 to 5 pass.

Age Limit:
Applicants applying for these pots should be in between the age of 21 years to 40 years as on 01-07-2013. However the upper age relaxation will be given to the SC/ST/OBC/PH and Ex-servicemen categories a per the Govt Rules.

Application Fee:

Candidates of General and OBC category are required to pay  the application fee of Rs. 500/- and candidates of SC/ST are to pay Rs. 250/- in the form of crossed Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Upper Director, State Educational Research & Training Council, Uttarakhand, Dehradun payable at Dehradun. However PH candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Selection Method:

Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Merit of all the Educational qualification performance from 10th class onwards to STET/NTET by the State level selection Committee.
