National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a fashion institute in India. It was set up in 1986 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India and is an institution of design, management and technology for the international fashion business. NIFT has been granted statutory status under the act of Parliament of India in 2006, empowering the Institute to award degrees and other academic distinctions.

A recruitment notification has been released by the  National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) New Delhi, Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India and invited online applications from the eligible Indian Nationals for the recruitment of 200 Teaching & Non-Teaching posts on Contract/Deputation basis through NIFT Recruitment Notification 2014. Educational Qualification:
Applicants applying for these posts should be Graduate/ Post Graduate/ Diploma in Civil Engineering/ B.E/ B.Tech/ M.E/ CA/ ICWA/ Ph.D Degree or Equivalent in Related Discipline from a Recognized University.

Application Fee:
Application fee for the post of Professor to be paid Rs, 1000/- for General and Rs. 500/- for the candidates of SC/ST and for remaining posts for General candidates Rs. 500/- and for SC/ST candidates Rs. 250/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of  NIFT, Payable at New Delhi.

Selection Method:
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination.
