The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is an Indian force conceived on October 24, 1962 for security along the India's border with the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, border covering 2115  kilometres. It is one of the Central Armed Police Forces. The first Director General of the ITBP was Late Sardar Balbir Singh. Indo-Tibetan Border Police has announced the notification about the recruitment of 225 Posts of Inspector (General Duty) vacancies. Education Qualification : Candidates should have passed 12th Class (intermediate) or its equivalent qualified from any recognized board.

Age limit : not more than 52 years as on date 2nd april 2014.

Selection method : On the basis of Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Written Exam

Pay Scale : Rs.9300-34,800 +Grade pay of Rs.4600/-
