Cochin Shipyard Limited is Mini Ratna Company under the Govt. of India. Cochin Shipyard Limited  is the largest shipbuilding and maintenance facility in India. It is part of a line of maritime-related facilities in the port-city of Kochi, in the state of Kerala, India. Cochin Shipyard was incorporated in 1972 as a Government of India company, with the first phase of facilities coming online in 1982. Educational Qualification:

Candidates willing to apply for these vacancies must be posses a Graduate degree with M.Com for Accountant and Degree in Chemistry or 3 year Diploma in any branch for Assistant Engineer and 3 year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a State Board of Technical Education for Technical Assistant (Mechanical) and B.Sc in Physics or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering for Laboratory Assistant for Laboratory Assistant and refer the official Notification for post wise qualification and experience details link given below.

Age details:

Job seekers age should not more then 40 years for Accountant, Assistant Enginee, Technical Assistant (Mechanical), Fireman, Semi Skilled Rigger and for other remaning vacancies not more then 35 years as on 31-01-2014. Age relaxation for reserved catogeries should be applicable as per the existing rules.

Selection Method:
Candidates are selected based on written test, Practical Test, Physical test and Interview.
