Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) is a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), an undertaking of the Government of India. CCL manages the nationalized coal mines of the Coal Mines Authority, Central division. The registered and corporate office is at Darbhanga House, Ranchi, Jharkhand.It presently has 63 mines (26 underground, 37 open cast) in areas of East Bokaro, West Bokaro, North Karanpur, South Karanpur, Ramgarh and Giridih. Their facilities include seven coal preparation plants, three for non-coking coal and four for medium coking coal. They earned their Mini Ratna status in 2007.

A recruitment notification has been released by the Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), Darbhanga and invited applications form the eligible candidates for filling the vacancies of Staff Nurse, Technician and Pharmacist posts in Technical & Supervisory Grade. Educational Qualification:

Candidates those who re applying for the posts of Staff Nurse should be 10+2 with ‘A’ Grade Nursing Diploma or Certificate from a recognized institute and for the post of Pharmacist (Trainee) should be 10+2 with Science and Diploma in Pharmacy registered with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act 1948 with valid registration and for remaining posts candidates should have Diploma in respective Technology from an Institute recognized by the Government and candidates please refer official notification for post wise details.

Age Limit:
Applicants should be in between the age of 18 years to 30 years a on 17-03-2014. However the upper age limit relaxation will be given to the candidates of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman  as per the exciting Rules.

Application Fee:

Applicants those who are belonging to General & OBC category are required to pay the application fee of Rs.100/- by Demand Draft from any nationalized Bank in favour of Central Coalfields Limited payable at Ranchi. Name of the candidate and post applied for should be written on the reverse side of the Demand Draft. However the candidates of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Serviceman are exempted from paying the application fee.

Selection Method:
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merit in written test and interview.

How to Apply:

Online: Candidates those who are eligible and interested can apply online through the official website  www.ccl.gov.in. from 01-02-2014 to 02-03-2014 (midnight) and after submitting online application candidates are required to take a print out of online submitted application and send it along with self attested copies of relevant certificates, affix self attested photo and attach DD to "The General Manager (Recruitment), Recruitment Department, 2nd Floor, Damodar Building, Central Coalfields Limited, Darbhanga House, Ranchi-834029" through Registered Post/Speed post only not later than 17-03-2014.

Offline Mode: Candidates are required to download application form from the official website  www.ccl.gov.in. from 01-02-2014 to 02-03-2014 (midnight) and send duly filled in along with self attested photograph affixed and copies of all related certificates/documents and DD superscribing the envelop with name of the post applied for & the mode of application as OFFLINE or ONLINE (Application ID) to "The General Manager (Recruitment), Recruitment Department, 2nd Floor, Damodar Building, Central Coalfields Limited, Darbhanga House, Ranchi-834029" through Registered Post/Speed post only o or before 17-03-2014.
