SSC Recruitment notification(Esatern Region) 2014

A recruitment notification has been declared by the Staff Selection Commission (Eastern Region) under the Govt of India. Applications are invited from Citizens of India through this Notice, for the following Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ Selection Posts. There are total 59 vacancies to be filled up. Name of the posts is as Store Assistant, Deputy Ranger, Data Processing Assistant, Investigator, Scientific Assistant & Junior Technical Assistant. Candidates eligible for these posts should submit their application form before the last date which can be downloaded from the official notification link mentioned below. The Last date of submission of application is 17/02/2014 and for flung areas it is 24/02/2014.

Name of the Posts:

1. Store Assistant: 02 posts
2. Deputy Ranger: 01 post
3. Data Processing Assistant: 29 posts
4. Investigator: 06 posts
5. Scientific Assistant: 02 post
6. Junior Technical Assistant: 19 posts

Education Required:

Candidates applying for the post of Store Assistant, Data Processing Assistant and Junior Technical Assistant must posses the Graduation degree, for the Deputy Ranger 12th Standard or its equivalent or trained Forester or Trained Forest Guard from the Regional forest school and for the Investigator and Scientific Assistant Master’s Degree in Linguistics and Physics (Pure or Applied) or Chemistry respectively from a govt recognized Board or University. For post-wise education qualification candidates have to refer the official notification.

Age Limit:

Candidates applying for these posts should be not below then 18 years and not more then 30 years as per the recruitment conditions. Age Relaxation will be applicable 5 years for ST/SC, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD Applicants as per Govt. rules.

Application Submission Charges:

Rs. 50/- will be payable for the Unreserved category candidates and reserved candidates are not required to pay any fees.

Selection Method:

Selection of the candidate will be based on the Personal Interview/Personality Test/ Proficiency Test/Skill Test and documents verification.
