WBPSC Recruitment 2014 – 118 Lecturer & Motor Vehicles Inspector Posts

West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced notification for the recruitment of 118 Lecturer & Motor Vehicles Inspector Posts. Eligible candidates can send their applications on or before 21-01-2014. Other details like age limit, educational qualification, application fee, selection process and how to apply are given below…

I. Lecturer: 41 Posts (Name of the Subject) :
1. Foundation Course: 09 Posts
2. English (Bengali Medium): 11 Posts
3. Physical Science (Bengali Medium): 02 Posts
4. Life Science: 01 Post
5. Mathematics: 09 Posts
6. History: 03 Posts
7. Geography: 01 Post
8. Foundation Course: 01 Post
9. English (Nepali Medium): 01 Post
10. Physical Science (Nepali Medium): 01 Post
11. Foundation Course (Urdu Medium): 01 Post
II. Motor Vehicles Inspector (Technical): 32 Posts
III. Motor Vehicles Inspector (Non- Technical): 46 Posts

Age limit: 
Candidates age should not be more than 32 years as on 01-01-2013. Age relaxations are applicable as per the rules.

Educational Qualification: 
Candidates should possess M. Ed./ M.Ed. (Elementary) with 55% marks for Foundation Course (Roman.No.1 post), Master’s Degree of two years duration (regular) course, with Honours at Graduation Level, having at least 55% marks in relevant school teaching subject and Diploma/ Degree in Education for Methodology Course (Roman.No.1 post), Pass in School Final or its equivalent examination, diploma in Auto mobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution with Driving license for heavy vehicles for Roman No.II Post, Degree of a recognised University for Roman No.III Post.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Preliminary Examinations/ Screening Test.

Application Fee:
Candidates has to pay the application fee of Rs.160/- (Rupees one hundred and sixty) only by Postal Order and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt.. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be accepted. No application fee for Candidates belonging to S.C./S.T. of West Bengal and Persons with Disabilities specified under Persons with Disabilities.

How to Apply: 
Eligible candidates can send their applications in prescribed format along with attested copies of all certificates two self-addressed unstamped envelopes and one self-addressed post card and application fee receipt, must be mentioned Name of the post applied for on top of the envelope to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, 161-A, S.P. Mukherjee Road, Kolkata – 700 026 by Personally between 11:00 AM and 03:30 PM on all working days on or before 21-01-2014.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 21-01-2014.
