The Nagaland Public Service Commission was set up in 1965 with a composition of one Chairman and two Members. The composition was revised in 1985 by addition of more Member. In 2007 the strength of members of the Commission was increased to 4 nos. Presently there are 1(one) Chairman and 4(four) Members.

The Nagaland Public Service Commission, Kohima is inviting application and providing a huge opportunity from citizens of all India.There are total of 85 vacancies are there to be filled.

Diploma (Eng), BE/B.Tech,B. V.sc & AH, M.Sc, PG

Application fee :

Application forms, syllabus and pattern of exam can be obtained from the office of the Commission on payment of Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only) being fee for forms & exams or downloaded from the Commission’s website at www.npsc.co.in.


Selection process : Selection of the candidates will be depend on Combined Technical Services Examination 2013 

How to apply :
Candidates can apply Online through the Nagaland State Portal at https://nagaland.gov.in or through any Nagaland One Common Service Center (CSC). Details of the Online Application Form, instructions to the candidates and list of operational CSCs are available on the Commission’s website.
Note for candidates who apply online:
  • Only those candidates who had been allotted Roll No. for Combined Technical Services Examination 2012 can apply online.
  • Candidates must upload scanned images of their photograph, signature and/or No Objection Certificate from the Head of Department (for serving Government employees only). They need not submit/upload any other documents.
  • Candidates who apply online must pay the fees online through the designated payment gateway  for which a transaction fee will be charged by the service provider (NDML) as per the rates given below:
Payment Type :
Transaction Fees (Excluding Applicable Taxes)
  • Internet Banking Payment : Rs. 5 for transaction amount up to Rs. 500
  • Debit Card Payment:0.75% of the transaction amount for value up to Rs. 2000
  • Credit Card Payment :1.00% of the transaction amount
  • Cash Card/Prepaid/Wallets : Rs. 10 or 1.5% of the transaction amount whichever is lower
  • IMPS : Rs. 5 for transaction amount up to Rs. 5,000
  • NEFT/RTGS :Rs. 5 per payment for any amount
