UPTET 2014 is an eligibility criteria/test to appoint the candidates on tecahers or educational teachers post in any Uttar Pradesh Govt. for running schools or any private school. Candidates who qualify TET Exam will be preffered more than others in Govt. & Private Sector. Every year, lacs of Students have been appeared in UPTET Exam. To be appointed as Primary Level teacher(Class I to V) or Upper Primary level teacher (Class VI to VII).

Eligibility Criteria for UP TET 2014 : 
Education Qualification
1.For Primary Level Teacher : Candidates who want to apply, should have obtained Graduation Degree with an aggregate marks of 50%. In addition, candidates must have either 2 years diploma in special education(D.ed) or BTC training from UP (approved by NCTE) or four year diploma in elementary education.

2. For Uper Primary Level Teacher : Candidates must possess Graduation degree with an aggregate score of 50% marks. In addition, must have either 1 year degree in elementary education (B>EL>ED) or BTC training from UP (approved by NCTE) or 2 years course in BTC/CT(Nur)/NTT (approved by NCTE).

Age Limit : Age limit is not mentioned in the Notification.

Selection Criteria for UPTET Exam 2014 :-
Selection will be based on Merit List. Merit List will be Prepared on the Basis of marks gained in UPTET written Exam.

UP-TET 2014 Exam Pattern : 
Uttar Pradesh TET Exam will be held in 2 parts that will  be held in 2 days in 2 shifts
1. Paper I will be held for Primary level Teachers(in Ist Session) & Language Teacher of Primary level(in 2nd session).

2.Paper II will be held for Upper Primary level teachers(in Ist session) and Language teacher of Upper primary level(in 2nd session).
