A recruitment notification has been released by the Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) and invited online applications from the eligible candidates for filling the vacancies of Sub Divisional Engineers (Civil/Mechanical) posts in the Department of Water Supply and sanitation, Government of Punjab. The total no. of vacancies are 30 posts for Sub Divisional Engineers of Civil and Mechanical, Candidates must have an Engineering Degree in Civil or Mechanical from a recognized University or Institution and Punjabi ofv Matriculation or its equivalent standard. 1. Sub Divisional Engineers (Civil): 26 posts
2. Sub Divisional Engineers (Mechanical): 04 posts

Educational Qualification:
Candidates those who are applying for these posts should have an Engineering Degree in Civil or Mechanical from a recognized University or Institution and Punjabi of Matriculation or its equivalent standard.

Age Limit:

Applicants those who want to apply for these posts should be in between the age of 18 years to 38 years as on 01-01-2014. However the upper age limit relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the Rules category wise.

Selection Method:

For selection of the candidates commission will hold a competitive examination and details for this exam will be displayed on the official website shortly.

Application Fee:

Candidates of UR category are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 500/- + Examination fee of Rs. 2500/- , for the candidates of SC/ST and BC of Punjab application fee Rs. 500/- + examination fee Rs.625/- and candidates belonging to Physically Handicapped, Punjab should pay application fee of Rs. 500/- + examination fee of Rs. 1250/- and Ex-servicemen of Punjab pay only application fee Rs. 500/- they are exempted from paying the examination fee. After submitting the online application form, the candidate should take a printout of the system generated fee payment challan and deposit the payment through any Branch of State Bank of Patiala only.

Last date of submission of Hard Copy of online application: 06-03-2014 upto 05.00 pm

How to Apply:

Eligible and interested candidates those who are meeting all the required conditions are to apply online through the official website upto 24-02-2014 and after filling online application candidates are required to send a Hard copy of online application along with self attested copies of all relevant certificates/documents and copy of Bank Challan to the office of Secretary, Punjab Public Service Commission not later than 06-03-2014 upto 05.00 pm.
