Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is one of the major coal producing company of India. It is one of the eight subsidiaries of Coal India Limited. Mahanadi Coalfields Limited was carved out of South Eastern Coalfields Limited in 1992 with its headquarter at Sambalpur. It has its coal mines spread across Odisha[1][2][3] It has total seven open cast mines and three underground mines under its fold. 

     A recruitment notification has been issued by the Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), Odisha and invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of Electrician Cat.III (T) posts through MCL Recruitment Notification 2014. Educational Qualification:
Applicants those who are applying for these posts should be passed in 10th class/Matriculation, ITI Course of two years with one year training in addition and LT permit under Indian Electricity Rule for Mines or 440-550 volts Mining parts permit issued by Competent Authority applicable for coal mines.

Age Limit:
Applicants those who want to apply for these posts should be in between the age of 18 years to 30 years as on 03-03-2014. However the upper age limit relaxation will be given to the candidates of SC/ST/OBC and Ex-serviceman categories as per the exciting Rules.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates' selection will be made on the basis of Written Test and interview.
