Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (NEERI) established in 1942, is an autonomous body and India's largest research and development (R&D) organisation, with 37 laboratories and 39 field stations or extension centres spread across the nation, with a collective staff of over 17,000.[1] Although CSIR is mainly funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, it operates as an autonomous body registered under the Registration of Societies Act of 1860. 

CSIR-NEERI has recently published a recruitment notification and invited online applications from the eligible indian nationals for filling up the vacancies of Project Assistants/Associate Posts on a temporary and contract basis under the externally funded/sponsored/Network/other project project under taken by CSIR-NEERI. Educational Qualification :
Candidates those who are applying for these postrs should have the educational qualification of Diploma(Engg)/B.Sc/B.Tech/M.Sc or M.Tech/M.Pharma, Ph.D and candidates please refer the notification for the details of the vacancy wise details of the educational qualification.

Age limit : 
Candidates those who are applying for the posts of Project Assistant Level-I (non-Ph.D) should not be more than 25 years, Project Assistant Level-II (non-Ph.D) not more than 28 years, Project Assistant Level-III (non-Ph.D) not more than 32 years, Project Associate Level-I (Ph.D) 35 years and for the posts of Project Associate Level-II (Ph.D) should not be more than 37 years of age. However the upper age limit relaxation will be given to the candidates as per the exciting Rules.

Procedure of Selection:
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of Screening short-list/interview.
