Jamia Hamdard was inaugurated by Late Shri Rajiv Gandhi on August 01, 1989. Jamia Hamdard was conceived as a seat of higher learning in Unani Medicine, Islamic Studies, Biosciences, Pharmacy, Nursing and other areas of knowledge by its founder as a means of fulfilling the objects of the wakf. Over a period of last ten years, Jamia Hamdard has emerged as an outstanding institution of higher learning with distinct and focused academic programmes. Graduate programme in Information Technology and Computer Applications and Post-graduate programmes in Information Technology, Computer Applications, Business Management, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy have been started in the last few years. Undergraduate programmes in Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy are being introduced from this year. Jamia Hamdard offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes in several disciplines for which advanced facilities are available. Walk in Interview is being organised by the Institution for the post of Assistant Professor, Lecture in the Department of Computer Science. The Candidtes wil be recruited for contract basis. The Candidates can even walk in for even semester of the curent academic session 2013-14

Eligibility for Assistant Professor : Ph.D degree in the relevant field/ First Class M.Tech. in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Software Engineering. pay scale : 45,000/- to 60,000/-pm
Eligibility Criteria for the post Lecturer - (For BCA and Lab Classes) : Master of Computer Application (MCA)/B. Tech from a reputed Indian University Pay: Consolidated salary in the range of Rs. 20,000/- to 30,000/-per month
Eligibility Criteria for the post Lecturer - (For allied subjects) Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Management, Communication Skills, Mechanism, Physics and Chemistry) :Ph.D degree/ M.Sc./MA in the relevant field/MBA Pay: Consolidated salary in the range of Rs. 20,000/- to 25,000/-
How to apply :
Interested candidates are required to submit duly filled the applications on the prescribed form along with CV attested copies of certificates & testimonials and two passport size photograph to the Office of the Registrar, Establishment Section latest by January 8, 2014. List of candidates eligible for interview will be displayed on January 10, 2014 on the website of Jamia Hamdard and interview shall be held on January 13, 2014 at 10 AM in the Committee Room of Faculty of Science Building Jamia Hamdard.
