West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti will engage personnel for the post of Homoeopathic Medical Officer on contractual basis for a period of one year under Homeopathy Branch.
Applications are invited from the Indian Citizens for the mentioned posts as per annexed format which must reach within 20 March.2013.

Details of the posItion

• Name of the Post : Homoeopathic Medical Officer
• No. Of Vacancies 86 (SC-20, ST-5, OBC-A-9, OBC-B-6, AND UNRESERVED -43 Reserved for Persons with Disabilities-3:)

• Consolidated Remuneration : Rs. 35,000 (Thirty Five Thousand only) 
• Age limit Not more than 50 years as on the last date of application for the mentioned post.

Essential Qualification :

Bachelor in Homoeopathic Medicine & Surgery (BHMS) from a recognized University or Institute. The qualification shall be one included in the second Scheduled of Homoeopathic Central Council ACT 1973.
N.B. Candidates must be registered either in Par A, of the State Register of Homoeopathic Medical Practitioners maintained by the Council of Homoeopathic Medicine West Bengal o in Part ‘V of the
Central Register maintained by Central Council. Candidates must be able to read & write Bengal fluently.

Process of recruitment 

Selection will be made on the basis of marks scored in BHMS by the candidates and Interview. Total Marks 100, out of which 70 marks allotted for academic qualification and 30 marks for interview.

Weightage shall be given to the candidates having higher qualifications

Relaxation for age will be given for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per GOl norms.

All eligible candidates are requested to send their application enclosed with duly attested copies of certificates issued by appropriate authority in support of age, caste, qualification etc in the address given below by speed post only.

The date of interview will be notified in the Website of the Department of Health & Family Welfare.
Letter of interview will be available from the Office of the Executive Director. State Health & Family
Welfare Samiti, Swasthya Bhawan. All original certification should be brought by the candidates for
verification during interview.
No T.A/ D.A will be paid foi appearing for interview.
General Guideline
The words Application for the post of Homoeopathic Medical Officer’ must be written on the front side of the envelope containing the application.
Candidates must send their application through speed Post only. Applications sent in any other form! mode or received after the last date shall be rejected.
Scale of Scoring (Academic Qualification — Total 70

Extra 5 marks will be awarded to candidates who have Completed MD In Homeopathy.
